An impeccable service, with a young team, inventive chef, a pianist each evening and entertainment for the children at the weekend, you are made to feel at home here, all year round: in the summer, a terrace seating 100 looks out onto the Seine; while in winter a fire crackles in the huge fireplace of the red dining room.

		Mathieu Bucher A graduate from the Hotel Management School in Saint-Quentin in the Yvelines, he met Mathieu Scherrer during a training programme at Crayères (Relais & Châteaux), in Reims. They soon became friends and decided to create a project together: it would become the River Café, where Mathieu Bucher today holds the post of Owner-Manager.
		Mathieu Scherrer A graduate from the Hotel Management School in Guebwiller, he was taught alongside some of the greatest chefs: Jean-Michel Lorain (La Côte Saint Jacques) or even Gérard Boyer (Les Crayères). Today, as chef at the River Café, he favours fresh produce and revisits traditional recipes from French haute cuisine.
		Claire Lavielle As a graduate with a DESS (Diploma in Specialist Higher Education) in Communication, she was employed by a communication/event management agency prior to working for a deputy. For 5 years at the River Café, she has held the key to making your events a true success.
		Fanny Mercier A graduate from a Business School (Ipag), she began by working at Press Club – where she was responsible for managing the hosting of seminars and the porters of this 4 star hotel – prior to joining the River Café team in August 2007 where she undertakes everything to fulfil your highest expectations.

Fanny and Claire are responsible for communication, public relations and commercial management at the River Café.
